Want to make an impact on the youth in our community? The Friends Youth Mentoring Program, established in 1975, matches qualified, screened and trained mentors with Merrimack County youth identified as in need or at-risk. This relationship helps mentees gain confidence and improve their behavior at home, in school, and in the community. Call 228-0108 to learn more about becoming a volunteer mentor. Orientations are held monthly. The next one is Thursday, April 19th @ 4:30pm. All orientations are held at the Friends Program main office, 202 North State Street, Concord.
