American Legion Post 33, Meredith – Memorial Day Events

Here is the Memorial Day schedule for Monday, May 26, 2025:

08:00 – Memorial Ceremony at Oakland Cemetery.
09:00 – Memorial Ceremony at Meredith Village Cemetery.
10:15 – The parade to the Veteran’s Memorial at the library steps
off from the American Legion parking lot.
10:30 – Memorial Ceremony at Meredith Veterans Memorial.
10:45 – The parade will continue on to Lang St./Swazey
Cemetery. Memorial Ceremony at Swazey Cemetery.
11:00 – The parade will proceed to Hesky Park/Meredith POW/MIA
Memorial.

At each ceremony a wreath will be laid to honor our fallen Veterans. A ceremonial wreath will be cast into Meredith Bay by the Dever Family. There will be prayers, readings and remarks at each ceremony. All are encouraged to attend. At the conclusion of the memorial exercises a light lunch will be served at the post on Plymouth St. All are invited to attend.
