Celebrate the 4th of July with a parade, patriotic music and fireworks!

Laconia’s 2021 4th of July promises to be a great day! The celebration kicks off with a parade beginning at 4:30 pm at Laconia High School, heading to Court Street and ending at Opechee Park.

The day opens with a parade at 10 a.m., starting on North Main Street and heading south (2016 theme: Celebrating Our NH Heritage). At dusk there will be fireworks over Wolfeboro Bay. Band concert

A Yard Sale to benefit the Franklin Visiting Nurse Association takes place Saturday June 26th, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. behind the armory on South Main Street in West Franklin. Rain date June 27th. Space

The 2021 Kainen M. Flynn Memorial Kids Fishing Derby takes place Saturday June 5th at Gunstock Mountain Resort in Gilford. Check-in starts at 8am. Enjoy family fun, great prizes, food and raffles!

The Executive Committee of the Tilton Senior Center is hosting a Coffee Social on June 9th from 9am-Noon. The Franklin VNA will be doing a Blood Pressure Clinic also from 10-11. Masks are required.
