Record Store Day has officially lifted the curtain on its 2026 lineup, revealing more than 350 limited-edition releases set to arrive in independent shops on Saturday, April 18. Now in its 19th year, the annual celebration once again promises exclusive pressings, rare reissues, and collectible box sets available for one day only on a first-come, first-served basis.

More than 300 record stores will participate, alongside thousands of indie retailers worldwide. Many locations will also host in-store performances and special events, continuing RSD’s mission to spotlight independent music shops and physical media.

This year’s list spans generations and genres. Confirmed releases include music from Charli XCX, Muse, Suede, Paramore, David Bowie, The Cure, Blur, Pink Floyd, Elton John, Fall Out Boy, Bruce Springsteen, Madonna, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Sonic Youth, Weezer, Slipknot, Carly Rae Jepsen, Ethel Cain, Olivia Dean, Wolf Alice, HAIM, CMAT, RAYE, Self Esteem, Sleep Token, The Last Dinner Party, and many more.

Among the most talked-about titles are Muse’s long-out-of-print early EPs from before their mainstream breakthrough, Paramore’s All We Know Is Falling expanded as a deluxe red double LP, Charli XCX’s “Party 4U” on seven-inch vinyl, and Blur’s Live At The Budokan returning for its 30th anniversary. Suede will release a BBC live performance of Coming Up on pink vinyl, while David Bowie fans can look forward to a neon pink 12-inch of “Hallo Spaceboy” alongside a half-speed pressing featuring selections from 1.OUTSIDE.

Special editions extend beyond rock and pop. The soundtrack to Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters will arrive in multiple versions, including the HUNTR/X Edition and Saja Boys Edition, each featuring new artwork and collectible extras. K-pop representation continues with KATSEYE releasing a vinyl featuring stripped-back live and a cappella recordings of “Touch” and “Gabriela.”

Bruno Mars, named the 2026 Record Store Day ambassador, will mark the occasion with The Collaborations, a curated compilation spotlighting his biggest joint tracks, including “Uptown Funk,” “Die with a Smile,” and “APT.” Live recordings are also a major focus this year: Bruce Springsteen will issue a sprawling five-LP set captured at the 2024 Sea.Hear.Now Festival, while Olivia Dean will press her BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge performance to vinyl following her recent Best New Artist Grammy win.

Additional highlights include Elton John’s glow-in-the-dark remix collection, Brandi Carlile’s intimate live album recorded at her local record store, Madonna’s Confessions Tour London show on double LP, Jeff Buckley’s Live À L’Olympia, Ziggy Marley’s first studio album in eight years, and Neil Young & The Chrome Hearts’ latest live release.

Family legacies also play a role in this year’s lineup. Violet Grohl will release a 7-inch tribute single honoring David Lynch, while Sean Lennon will reinterpret his father’s 1970 ballad across a three-LP experimental set titled Love Meditation Mixes. Completing the lineup is Wicked: One Wonderful Night (Live), pressed as a double LP from the Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo-led television event.

Record Store Day 2026 arrives amid a vinyl boom, with sales reaching their highest level in two decades. According to industry figures, vinyl purchases rose nearly 19 percent last year, with more than 7.5 million records sold in the UK alone.
