Winter Carnival happening at the Laconia Christian Academy March 20th!!! All proceeds help the students reach their goal of $10, 000 for their mission trip to Guatemala!!!

They’ll be games, food, a dunk tank, cotton candy, snow cones, and popcorn at LCA’s campus gym 4:30pm – 8:30pm.

Mission Details:

The juniors and seniors of Laconia Christian Academy are traveling to Guatemala this spring, April 20th – May 1st, for their annual Service/Learning Missions Trip.

During the mission trip the students have the privilege of working with John and Donna Reynolds at Cross Commission, a ministry in San Cristobal, Verapaz, Guatemala (http://crosscommission.org/cc/). Their objective is to build relationships with the young people of San Cristobal currently at Cross Commission’s youth center and to provide and install vented cooking stoves and fresh water systems in a small village in the mountains around San Cristobal.

The total cost of the trip is about $1900 per student. This includes airfare, transportation, and lodging and meals while in Guatemala. It also includes a budget of $6,000 for vented cook stoves and fresh water systems.
