Flames Ride 14th Annual - 8/17

Location:
-Manchester Harley Davidson and Buell in Manchester, New Hampshire
(115 John E. Devine Drive, Manchester, New Hampshire)
Flame’s Ride was founded by a loving friend named Alice Brockway. Alice’s good friend, named Beverly Comiskey, succumbed to the complications of diabetes. Bev’s nickname was Flame. Flame has many friends that remember her spirit and love of riding, and the loss they all feel is the reason the ride is named after her. We have committed ourselves to continue the ride in an effort to raise money to help beat this terrible disease. The money raised goes towards sending kids with diabetes to CAMP CAREFREE so that they can learn to live with their disease and towards research to help those who already have the disease learn how to live with it.
The Flames Ride is an annual event organized by volunteers to raise money to help beat diabetes. The ride takes place in New Hampshire, lasting 1-2 hours traveling on several scenic roads. We run a different route every year to keep the ride interesting for those who return year after year. At the end of the ride, we gather for a large barbeque and awards ceremony. Free food will be provided for those who have paid the registration fee or volunteered their time. Everyone is welcome, even if you do not ride a motorcycle you can simply pay for the registration fee that day or send in the registration form as a non-rider.

4th Annual No Money Fun Run - 9/7

So here it is! The 4th Annual No Money Fun Run! I know it's early, so details are few. We will be headed North again this year. Meeting in the Wal Mart parking lot in Tilton. KSU at 10:30. Every year this ride has gotten bigger. I hope to make it bigger again this year!
I was thinking about making up some T-shirts for this year. It would kind of go against the "No Money" part seeing as I would have to sell them at my cost. Looks to be around $15.00. Let me know if there is any intrest for the shirts. If so, I would need the money before I order them. If not, we ride on! (I wont be offended if nobody wants one!) Rain Date: 9/8

Pewter Run - 9/30

8:00 AM  to 5:00 PM
pewterrun.com
The Pewter Run Celebrates the first fifty years of motorcycling in America. It is loosely patterned after two international "vintage" motorcycle events The "Motogiro dItalia" and the English "Branbury Run". The PEWTER RUN is a timed, non-speed, reliability road event for motorcycles built prior to 1950. The First event started and finished on the historic town common in Hillsborough Center, New Hampshire. This very picturesque setting is in the heart of rural New England with its many historic villages, fine homes, old inns and winding country roads.

The premiere "first of its kind " AMA sanctioned event is organized and hosted by the United States Classic Racing Association, Americas oldest vintage racing organization. The route will wind its way approximately thirty miles from Hillsborough Center to Washington, New Hampshire and eventually back to the start for a gala social gathering and cookout celebrating early motorcycling. Participants will follow a designated route at a low average speed where checkpoints will confirm their reliability and progress.

Participation classes will separate the motorcycles into age categories for scoring. Pewter replicas will be awarded for completing the event in the prescribed time plus an allowable percentage. For complete event information, rules, classes and an entry form, visit www.race-uscra.com.

New England Walkers 4 Knockers-Ride 4 Help & Hope - 10/6
